Executive Director of Commercial Real Estate I Sen, EXP Commercial
Porter Ranch

After decades working in the real estate divisions of major national brands, I’m stepping into a new chapter: one that gives me more flexibility, broader reach, and the ability to work across markets without traditional limitations. I’m based in Los Angeles and now part of eXp Commercial, where the platform allows me to operate at a national level more efficiently than ever. Throughout my career, I’ve managed projects in nearly every U.S. state, including work on multiple military bases. That experience shaped how I approach real estate strategically, but always with an understanding of how deals perform in the real world. Early on, I owned and operated a restaurant, which gave me firsthand exposure to construction, operations, and the day-to-day realities of running a business. That perspective has stayed with me and continues to influence how I evaluate sites, structure deals, and advise clients. I don’t just look at opportunities from a real estate standpoint—I look at them through the lens of the operator. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work in senior real estate roles with companies like Rite Aid, Carl’s Jr. (CKE Restaurants), Wendy’s, and Pennant Food Corp. At Carl’s Jr., I secured 18 new locations in my first year. At Rite Aid, I consistently averaged around 12 deals annually, with a high of 17 in a single year. At Wendy’s, I averaged eight deals per year, including several top-performing locations within the system. Today, my focus is on retail and industrial real estate, with an emphasis on strategic planning, site selection, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. I bring a hands-on approach to negotiations, deal structuring, and problem-solving, whether it’s a straightforward transaction or a more complex situation involving repositioning or surplus assets. Outside of real estate, I’ve always believed in staying involved in the community. I’ve coached youth football, volunteered at CHOC Hospital in the children’s cancer wing, participated in local historical site cleanups, and supported outreach efforts serving the homeless in Los Angeles. I also enjoy tying community impact into the projects I work on. Many of my grand openings have included fundraising efforts for local schools, as well as for the families of police officers and firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty. Giving back has always been an important part of how I approach both my work and my life.
